Project Morph was founded in April 2019 following a chance encounter that revealed the urgent realities of domestic violence and human trafficking in their own community.
During a study session at a Starbucks in Sacramento, the group met a woman seeking help who shared her experience as a survivor of domestic violence. Her story exposed the four high school students to the harsh realities faced by countless individuals trapped in abusive situations.
This encounter became a turning point. What began as a conversation transformed into a commitment to action.
Project Morph was established as a student-led initiative dedicated to supporting domestic violence survivors through fundraising, community events, and advocacy. Our mission is to create tangible, lasting change for those affected by domestic violence and to raise awareness about these critical issues within our communities.
